Awesome day with Kat! She came all the way from Colorado to visit her brother. What a great opportunity to check out our local climbing here in sunny San Diego. It is clearly not Kat’s first time on the rock! As she knew how to tie in and belay we moved fast! We climbed 7 routes – most of them in multi-pitch style where I belayed her from the top. Up there I taught her how to rig her own rappel with a safety back-up. There is a huge benefit to being up at the anchor with your guide! You can see all set-ups in action and receive hands-on instruction.I am grateful for every day that I am out teaching. Thanks Kat for being part of this. Can’t wait for more adventures!
