Published November 13, 2015 Red Rock Las Vegas – Sandra at the last rappel/1pitch of "Birdland, 5.7" This route is such a classic for a good reason. Very featured and clean with mostly great belay stations always bolted and equipped with rap chains. It was a nice chilly day and it felt good to be in the sun the entire time of the climb. As a team of 3 we completed all 5 standard pitches and rappelled down the route from anchor station to anchor station. We all had a great time being out there and looking down on Las Vegas and realizing how crazy awesome this world is. Sandra by the way finished her first ever rock climb that day… Way to go!! ??
