We had an awesome time climbing with Chillino Rock Climbing in Joshua Tree! Our group had a big spread of ages, from kindergarten to middle school, and Fabi and Tiowa managed the age gap beautifully. They made safety a top priority and taught the kids how to tie knots, climb safely, and even rappel — the kids loved it! We really appreciated how patient and encouraging they were with those who needed a slower pace. You can tell that Fabi and his team are truly passionate about climbing and love sharing that passion with the next generation of climbers.

My husband and I booked a 4-hour guided climb in San Diego with Chillino; a 4-hour climb guided by Kyle at Mission Trails Park. Kyle was awesome! He was very professional, skilled, and intuitive to our capability. We did plenty of top rope, he taught us additional skills like rappelling, how to belay in lead climbing, and was very clear when explaining the equipment and rigs. Kyle is incredibly friendly, great company and very safe. He was an amazing vocal and demonstrative coach the entire time, ensuring confidence and fun! At the end we had a short review of the session and he gave us great pointers on how we can get better and what our next progress milestone should be. Will definitely be booking again!

My partner and I just finished an intro climbing class with Chillino and it was fantastic! Our guide was Fabi and he was knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging and always put safety first. A great introduction to outdoor climbing with an emphasis on learning basics the right way and having fun, whatever your skill level. We started with an overview of equipment, a short hike in Mission Hills and a thorough training on using the equipment. We had the chance to do several lines at our own pace. All were a good challenge! Overall, a great class and highly recommend 🙂

Absolutely incredible experience! I hardly have any experience as a climber and Fabian did a great job at showing me the basics and making sure I knew how to safely and adequately climb. There was plenty of time for me to get my hands dirty and the location was beautiful! The team that came along was very positive and encouraging! Would definitely recommend Fabian's climbing options!

I had the pleasure of taking an introductory to rock climbing course with Kyle Heavey & Miguel Jones. I can’t recommend this course enough to anyone that is curious to learn the basics and fundamentals of rock climbing. They both went out of their way to explain the proper techniques and were very patient with the group.
Very professional, kind and fun experience. It was clear that they have a ton of experience and love sharing tips in an easy to learn environment. I feel like I am much more familiar and comfortable with rock climbing just after this initial course.

Great experience getting an intro to rope climbing. I’ve been bouldering in the gym for a year now and had the opportunity to take the intro class with Fabi. It was such a great class I decided to to take an 8 hour session with Kyle. Kyle was very professional and catered to my learning interests and needs.
