Joshua Tree never disappoints with its unique style of climbing. Here Max on a climb that looks much harder than it actually is. We hiked all the way into Johnson's canyon to get on this gem. It was Max's first time climbing in the park and he was quite surprised by the funky moves he busted out and the stiff ratings. We kept hearing "this is the hardest 5.7 (and you could insert any rating here) I have ever done! Yes… Joshua Tree is no ego booster!! After a few pitches, he got the hang of it and suddenly palming, stemming and other odd moves were busted out with more ease. Good job Max!

Great day at Mission Trails in San Diego. Dave has never climbed before in his life and now he finds himself high up on the wall at one of San Diego's most popular climbing areas. Cutest climbing team ever. Paul and Emily just met in our class. Both were crushing it on both sides of the rope as a belayer and climber. Emily is 9 years old and one of the most responsible kids we had on our class. She kept up a great communication, flawlessly belayed Paul multiple times and pretty much flew up every climb. Way to go and what a great pleasure to teach and watch.
